Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom perform. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was a young child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the series. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent presence on social media.
