Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, winner of both the USA championships and the World Champion in hurdles has reached her current position with a lot struggle and an immense amount of patience. Jones was the only member of a family with five children who lived living in poverty. Her mother was always changing her location and she lived in the basement. The sporadic lifestyle forced Jones to change schools and attend an entirely new school each year until the time she entered high school. Jones was forced to move away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School to follow her passion for track. Jones was a member of four different families to ensure that she was studying at a high level. Jones was also a cellist in the school orchestra. At school, she won the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award in the Iowa Track & Field. Jones, when she went to college, was regarded as one of the top hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she was the winner of the hurdles 100 meters. She also participated in the team finishing second for 100-meters relay. Jones was a winner of the indoor hurdles at NCAA championships in 2003 as well as 2004. Jones began her track and field career in the year 2005, when she graduated from university. She was the winner of each of the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races that same year.

Born and raised from Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Her talent was discovered in Auckland by local cast director Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia for part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. Lesley Ann Brandt, born on December 2, 1981, was born in Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to New Zealand in the city of Auckland.
