Megan Gale
Gale was a winner of a modeling competition in Perth when she was just 18. After many years of modeling, Gale rose to fame when in 1999 was cast to appear in a series of adverts for the Italian telecom company called Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy); she appeared in the advertisements of the company until 2006.She was also employed as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia in Italy'. Gale was featured on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in the editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has modeled on runways for Italian fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways in the fashion houses of Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of many Australian designers, including Colette Dinnigan, and Kirrily. Johnston. Willow, Alex Perry, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, Willow, etc. As of 2006, Gale was the fashion commentator for the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years. She took to the catwalk one last time only a couple of weeks later in a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. The last dress she donned was her Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear for the recently released motion picture Justice League of America. In March 2011, Gale returned to the runway for Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show.
