He was born as Colson Baker, Machine Gun Kelly is an American artist who made a meteoric success due to his distinct fashion and music. MGK is best known for his rapid-fire style of lyricism that gave him his stagename Machine Gun Kelly. He began rapping in high school, and gained a local audience quickly thanks to several mixtapes. The stamp of approval was his breakthrough mixtape from 2006. The mixtape was a hit with many people. His first mixtape gave MGK the push to launch on a professional career. After a while, he dropped four mixtapes. His career exploded in 2011 when he landed a recording contract to Bad Boy, as well as Interscope Records. The following year, his first album Laces Up came out and was met with positive reviews from reviewers. Albums such as Wild Boy, Invincible and Stereo were popular hits that were released on the US Billboard 200. General Admission was his next studio album.
